Sexual GBV Sexual Gender-Based Violence (GBV) encompassess a wide range of unwanted behaviors and acts directed at a person because of their gender, sexual orientation, or gender identity. This violence is rooted in societal power dynamics and harmful norms, not in the victim’s identity or actions. Any of these actions, regardless of intent, are violations if they are unwelcome or make someone uncomfortable.
